ELEVATED BRACKET INSTALLATION
THIS ARTICLE DISCUSSES THE INSTALLATION OF ROOF GRIP WITH THE FIXING BRACKETS ELEVATING THE WALKWAY ABOVE THE ROOF SHEETS.
Roof Grip Access Walkways can be installed so that they are elevated above the roof sheets in order to give protection to the roof sheets in high traffic installations. This type of installation applies to both across the ridge or along the ridge.
A pair of purpose made clamps are fitted to the roof sheet ridge at a specific spacing (to match the roof sheet profile) and a support bearer bar is spanned between them and fixed to the top of the them to form a fixing bracket. The walkway panel is then placed on top of the fixing brackets and fixed to the top of the brackets.
This type of installation ensures the preservation of the roof sheet integrity.
